Alfred DeCillis was born February 17, 1939 in Manhattan, New York. During his life time he received a Bachelors of Science in Education from Northern State Teachers College, Aberdeen, South Dakota; a Masters of Science in Education from Hofstra University; and a Professional Diploma in Education from C.W. Post at Long Island University. He retired as the Special Education Administrator for Middle Country School District. He was the loving husband to Babs Decillis; devoted father to Christie Ann and husband Raymond Fitzgerald; proud grandfather to both Corvus James Fitzgerald and Telum Gunner Fitzgerald; and survived by his older brother Nick DeCillis and family.

The family would like to invite our friends to share some time with us during our period of grieving on Friday, September 16, 2016 from 2-4. We will then be returning to New York for a Celebration of Life Ceremony. The journey will end at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Coram, NY which will be his final resting place.
