Alroy D. Hagen

March 15, 1935 – June 30, 2021

Wife: Beverly Haines Hagen

Al Hagen left his mark on this world.  Born in 1935, the eldest of 6 siblings on a Pierre, North Dakota farm, he knew hard work.  Al worked the farm while finding time to excel in academics and sports.

Al married his childhood sweetheart Beverly Haines in 1956. They were married for 65 years. Al and Bev moved to Pennsylvania from Minnesota in 1970.  He spent his career at Unisys Corp. and traveled the world while he was there.  After retirement, they moved to Florida.

His took great joy in his relationships with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He faithfully attended every graduation and life celebration of each and every one of them.

Al and Bev loved adventures.  They traveled extensively and were especially thrilled to travel to his homeland in Norway. Al was very proud of his Norwegian roots.

He was an avid sports fan.  He could watch two games at once while listening to another.  Al knew every stat of every player.  He also loved history and would visit historical sites at every opportunity.

Al will be sorely missed.  Once you met him, you would never forget him.  He leaves behind much good in the many lives he touched.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly, their three children, eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren

There is a hole in the world where his bright spirit shone.

A celebration of life will be made at a later date in Pennsylvania
