Bolt, Anne Pike Hamlin
Anne passed away on April 6, 2016. She was born in Tangerine, FL on December 10, 1930 to Maurice and Grace Pike.
Anne had a career as an educator with Lake County Schools for over 50 years where she impacted the lives of thousands of children. She was a dedicated member of First United Methodist Church of Mount Dora, a beloved community builder, and her heritage included some of the pioneering families of Lake County.
Anne was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Stewart Pike, her first husband Alan Hamlin and her second husband William "Pete" Bolt, as well as her son, Charles Lavin.
Anne is survived by her sister, Jean Pike Houser; her sons John Lavin and Holden, Pike, Roy, and Thomas Hamlin and their families; several members of the Bolt and Melvin families as well as dozens of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of Anne's life will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 9th at the Allen J. Harden Funeral Home. Memorial donations to your favorite children's charity would be appreciated.
