Barbara Antoinette (Morris) Adams, aged 59, Sorrento, FL went to be with the Lord after a long battle with cancer on July 2, 2015. She passed quietly with her husband and daughter at her side at the Cornerstone Hospice House in Tavares, FL.

Barbara was born April 6, 1956 to Harry and Doris Morris in Dallastown, PA. She graduated from Dallastown High School in 1974 and moved to Leesburg, FL in 1976. She married her husband in April 1977 and moved to Gainesville, FL with their daughter. Barbara and her family moved back to the Lake County, FL area in 1986.

Barbara had a passion for life and touched many people's lives with her humor, tenderness, and compassion. She was a true warrior in her battle with cancer and faced the rigors of treatment fearlessly with grace and style.

Barbara is survived by her husband Steve, daughter Jami (Gaines), granddaughter Brittany (Gaines), siblings Kathy (Morris), Lourena (Oberdick), Ike (Morris), Madeline (Warner), Ray (Morris), and Robin (Morris) and her mother Doris (Morris).

A Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held at the Allen J. Harden Funeral Home on Wednesday July 8, 2015 at 11:00 AM. Memorial Donations to the American Cancer Society and Cornerstone Hospice.
