Bernice J. Meyer-Garrett, 93, of Eustis, sadly passed away on August 12, 2026. Bernice was born to Bernard and Charlotte Fagan on April 8, 1933.

She attended school in New York City, and married Alfred Meyer in 1952. Together, they lived in New York City until 1973, when they moved to the Central Florida area.

Her Beloved Al passed away in 1996, after battling cancer. Bernice married George Garrett in 2000. They enjoyed 11 years of marriage until his passing in 2011. Bernice is survived by her three children, Michael (Joy), Linda, and Scott (Christina), as well as, 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, all of whom she loved dearly.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, from 9am to 10am, at Allen J. Harden Funeral Home located at 1800 N. Donnelly Street, Mount Dora, FL 32757. A funeral service will begin promptly at 10am at the same location; a private interment will take place at Florida National Cemetery Bushnell at 1pm.
