Bette J. Brenner's Obituary
Bette J. Brenner passed away with her family at her side early Sunday morning, July 21, 2013, at the age of 90.
She was born to the late William and Leona Owens in Brandon, Wisconsin on September 3, 1922.
Bette graduated from Waupun High School in 1940. She married the late Kenneth Brenner on February 14, 1946. They were married for 62 years. She worked for twenty years as secretary to the Dean of Scholastic Development at Western Kentucky University. She and her husband moved to Florida in 1986 to be near their family.
She is survived by her family, Ed and Patricia Garrison of Eustis, FL; five grandchildren; and three great grandsons. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathleen B. Garrison.
A memorial service will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, July 27 at the Chapel at Waterman Village, with Chaplain Bob Whitworth officiating.
Inurnment will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Eustis, FL.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Western Kentucky University College of Education Scholarship Fund, 1906 College Heights Boulevard, #11030, Bowling Green, KY 42101 or to Frank and Helen DeScipio Hospice House, 2445 Lane Park Road, Tavares, FL 32778.
