Betty D. Joy (Stockton), 87, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2025, in Tavares, Florida.  She was a very loved and caring person. Everyone who met her, loved her.  Betty was born in Umatilla, Florida, on March 26, 1938, and was raised in Mount Dora.  After graduating from Mount Dora High School, she moved to Chicago to work for the airlines.  It was there she met her loving husband of 59 years.

Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Nolan Joy.  She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Heffler; son, Bryan Joy; son-in-law, John Heffler, granddaughter, Meredith Strickland (husband, Jake); and grandson, Gavin Heffler (finance', Abby).

Betty was deeply loved and respected.  She will be greatly missed every day.
