Beverly Jean Clancy, age 76, of Sorrento, Florida passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at home. After a short but aggressive battle with cancer, she fought to the very end with faith, courage, and strength. In her final moments, she was comforted and surrounded by loved ones.
Beverly was a devoted wife to her late husband Bill and a loving momma to their two daughters. Such a firecracker; full of life, a ball of sunshine, and always wanting to help. Beverly was born June 13, 1948 in Jacksonville, Florida to Cecil Clark, Jr. and Jackie Lee Clark, and was later adopted by Charles Gatlin.
Beverly is reunited with those predeceased; her husband Bill and their first-born son, William Bernarr Clancy IV, her parents, her sister Donna and brother Charlie. She's survived by older sister Loretta Carter; two daughters - Connie (Don) and Linette; six grandchildren - Chelsea, Katie, Kyle, Caleb, Bayley, Brady; and a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
To commemorate her beautiful life and celebrate the love she spread, a memorial service will be held in her honor on Friday, October 25th from 12:00 – 2:00 pm at the Allen J. Harden Funeral Home in Mount Dora.
