Billy Edward McClenny, 82, Mount Dora, FL passed away peacefully on August 15, 2017. He was born June 2, 1935 on the family farm in Henry County, Alabama and was the second of nine children of Curtis Jackson McClenny and Katie Whatley McClenny. He enlisted in the USAF on December 18th, 1953. He was assigned to Pinecastle AFB (Now Orlando International Airport), Florida as a B-47 Gun Laying Weapons Systems Specialist. After the military, he worked in the Citrus industry for a while but spent most of his later years in the Construction business.

Billy is preceded in death by his siblings Jimmy, Peggy, Martha and Tommy. He is survived by his children Curtis McClenny, Rita Martin and Elizabeth Anderson; his siblings Paul, Sara, Charlotte and Bobby; six grandchildren, Patricia L McClenny, Nickless C Martin, Elizabeth M Martin, Freddy Ray Anderson III, Benjamin Tyler Anderson, and Emery L McClenny; Great grandson Riley Martin and a multitude nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at the Florida National Cemetery 6502 S.W. 102nd Avenue Bushnell, FL 33513 at 1:30 pm on August 18, 2017. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Veterans of Foreign Wars organization. https://www.vfw.org/foundation/foundation-donate
