IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Brenda Jean
Nimeth
April 24, 1962 – September 17, 2020
Brenda Jean Nimeth, age of 58, went to Heaven on Thursday, September 17, 2020. She peacefully passed from this world in the comfort of her home in Tavares, Florida. Brenda leaves behind her three children, Jason, Amanda, and Crystal, and her six grandchildren, Allison, Zion, Ellie, Malayla, Johnathon, and William. Her homegoing service will be held at Lighthouse Baptist Church at 18530 State Road 44 in the City of Eustis, Florida, on Saturday, September 26, 2020, at 11:00 AM. Public viewing will begin at 10:00 AM.
Brenda was born in Detroit, Michigan, to James and Elaine Foster on April 24, 1962. She left behind two brothers, Jim Bley and Martin Foster, and three sisters, Cheryl Foster, Sharon Debruyne, and Laurie Cooney. She graduated from Sterling Christian in Sterling Heights, Michigan, in 1980, and completed a semester of college at Bob Jones University. Brenda married the love of her life, Ricky Nimeth, and enjoyed twenty-nine years of marriage until his passing on August 29, 2014.
Brenda and Ricky moved to Florida in 1987. Brenda worked as a newspaper carrier until she was no longer able due to her health. She enjoyed the ability to work at night, so she could be with her children during the day and after school. When she wasn't working, she enjoyed crossword and wordsearch puzzles. She also enjoyed taking care of her last child at home, Misty her dog, a fifteen-year old chiweenie.
Brenda was introduced to Jesus Christ as a teenager. While in high school, she volunteered for Jack Van Impe Ministries answering phones. She has been a member of First Baptist Church in Tavares, Florida, and Lighthouse Baptist Church in Eustis, Florida. In the last few years, she attended Faith Christian Fellowship in Tavares. Over the years, Brenda volunteered in various roles at her churches, and most recently helped distribute food.
Brenda will be missed. She carried an appreciation for the time she had been given through God's intervention in a number of near-death experiences. Although she is no longer with us, her testimony, love, and life lessons will continue to live on and through the family and friends she has left behind.
