Daniel "Butch" Gilbreath, a vibrant force of passion and generosity, unexpectedly passed away on June 23, 2023 at the age of 71, leaving a void in the hearts of all who knew him. Born on March 8, 1952, in Indiana to Max and Margaret Gilbreath, Butch's adventurous spirit led him on a remarkable journey that touched the lives of countless people.

At a young age, Butch relocated to the Redlands, Florida, where he attended South Dade High School. It was there he was fortunate to establish life long friendships that led him to love. It was also where he discovered his joy for speed and mechanics.

As Butch grew older he honed his skills alongside his family, working tirelessly to establish the groundbreaking "Mars Auto Parts." Butch's dedication and innovative spirit defined his character and shaped his path. Throughout his life, Butch found solace in racing cars, motorcycles and boats; his need and knowledge for speed was unrivaled. Butch's ingenuity will be missed the most.

Butch's legacy lives on through his beloved brother, Jack Gilbreath, his treasured daughter, Nicole Gilbreath, his cherished grandson, Jayden Chiechi-Gilbreath, and all that hold him in their heart.
Daniel "Butch" Gilbreath, lovingly remembered and deeply missed, may you forever race through the heavens with the wind at your back.

A funeral service will be held in his honor on Sat., July 1st in Mt Dora. Viewing will be from 11:00-12:00pm and the service will be from 12:00-1:00 at Allen J Harden Funeral Home. Following the service, there will be a burial, across the street, at Pine Forest Cemetery.
