Catherine E. Wilson passed away Monday, September 1st, 2025, at the age of 63 surrounded by her family. She was born March 13th, 1962, to Melinda Mincey and the late Allen McKinley.

Catherine or Cathy with a "C", as she would commonly clarify to people, had an indomitable will and unparalleled tenacity. Throughout her fight with cancer not once did she ever let it break her spirit, and she served as a beacon of inspiration and strength to all who were blessed to know her.

She had an unparalleled appreciation for all nature in this world, but she had a particular affection and love for alligators. Floridians nickname them swamp puppies, and Cathy took that to heart, every chance she had she would go to Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive and talk to alligators with this call she had that worked incredibly well.

She was a charitable and giving soul too. If you needed something she would act without hesitation with no desire for repayment. She supported charities and programs that helped children such as St. Jude's Children's Hospital along with wildlife conservation organizations such as the Sierra Club.

Her memory and legacy live on through her two sons Jonathan and Jordan Wilson, along with her siblings Chuck Mincey, Kirk Mincey, Mark Mincey and Tammy Hesry and her mother Melinda Mincey.

In her life she was a loving daughter, sister, wife, and mother. Her kindness and love is everlasting and she is no longer with us physically. Her family, and all of those lives she touched throughout her years with out will carry her on spiritually.
