Obituary

Charles Ulery, lovingly known as Sandy, was called to his eternal home on April 14th, 2024. Sandy passed peacefully at his home in Eustis, Florida, with family by his side, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Sandy was born in Chicago, Illinois, on September 22nd, 1955, to John Ulery and Doris Hawking. He graduated from Schurz High School, also located in Chicago, and then, in 1985, he moved to Florida. Prior to retirement, Sandy was the proud business owner of "The Lost Parrot" and "Eduardo's Station", both in Mount Dora, Florida.

Sandy is survived by his beloved wife, Claudia Ulery, their son, Shawn, as well as Sandy's two sisters, Vickie and Patti, his Aunt Beckey Rhoa, and several nieces and nephews who love him dearly. Now, Sandy is united in Heaven with his mother, Doris Hawking, daughter, Lisa Ulery LoSasso, grandmother, Margaret Estright, and countless others who have passed before him.

Sandy was a staple in our family, cherished by us all, to include his dear friends. His mere presence brought nothing but warmth and joy to everyone who knew him. On behalf of the family, we would like to say thank you to everyone who was a great friend to Sandy. As a family, we are forever grateful for the wonderful impact you made not only on our lives as a whole, but on those precious last days of Sandy's life.
