Constance (Connie) Carman Moxley died on October 6, 2018 from complications with heart disease, she was 94.
Mrs. Moxley was born on July 26, 1924 in Buffalo, New York. Her parents were Edward and Gladys Carman. She graduated from Patterson State Teacher's College in New Jersey with a Bachelor's degree in Education,
earned
a Master's degree in Education from Nova University in Florida, and also a Special Education certificate from Nova University. She was married to Robert Royden Moxley and they lived their retirement years together in Leesburg, FL. Robert passed away March 4, 2007. The Moxley's had great fun dancing, playing cards and traveling.
Mrs. Moxley is survived by her daughters Patricia Blake and Barbara Tighe of Florida, and her son and daughter in law Richard and Linda Moxley of Connecticut. She has 3 grandchildren Susan Lynch and her husband Michael Lynch from Ohio, Matthew Moxley from Connecticut and Robert Moxley from New York City. She also has 2 great grandchildren, Abigail Lynch and Brooke Moxley.
There will be a service honoring her life at Allen J. Harden Funeral Home in Mount Dora, FL on Friday October 12, 2018 at 10 am. Constance's burial wishes are to be cremated and buried next to her husband Robert at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
