Obituary

Mt. Dora - David S. Wayne, 72, died at home on Saturday, March 9, 2019.
He leaves his wife of 49 years, Katharine Wheeler Wayne; his daughter, Tracie Olsen; his son, Britton Wayne; his sister, Leslie Sanchez; and seven grandchildren, Olivia, Nicholas, JD, Noah, Zeke, Bruce, and Dylan.
Born and raised in North Miami, Florida, the son of Stanley and Dorothy (Seal) Wayne, David was a lifelong resident of Florida.
Prior to an early retirement for health reasons, David was President of East Coast Asphalt in South Florida. He was an avid boater and fisherman, and enjoyed camping and hiking. In his later years, he developed a passion for cars and woodworking and was happiest spending time in his shop.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Allen J. Harden Funeral Home in Mount Dora, Florida.
