Dovie Mae Bush, age 81, of Mt. Juliet, TN, died February 23, 2014.

Mrs. Bush was an active member of Mt. Juliet Church of Christ for the past 12 years. Prior to moving to Mt. Juliet to be with her grandkids, she was a long time member of the Orange Avenue Church of Christ in Eustis, FL.

Mrs. Bush worked for many years at Harden Early Childcare at Mount Dora Christian Home and Bible School.

She was the daughter of the late, John and Nevada Russell Cantwell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Bush; infant son, Ivan Douglas Bush; brothers, Richard, Carl, Glenn, General, Calvin and Lewis; sisters, Irene, Vinitta and Reva.

Mrs. Bush's life was centered around her commitment and service to Jesus; she set an example of how to live a Christ filled life. She was a helper, a giver, an encourager, a hugger, and a forgiver; always gracious and kind. Gram's, as she was known to the family, was a cherished mother and grandmother who valued quality time with her loved ones.

She is survived by: Daughter - Pam (Curtis) Jordan; and grandchildren - Amanda, Andrew, Austin, Dylan, Ondria and Caleb.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at the Orange Avenue Church of Christ in Eustis, FL with a funeral service immediately following at 1 p.m.

Interment will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Leesburg, FL.
