Eileen Josephine Edlen, 93 of Eustis Florida died Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Bayview Center.  She was born in Concord, Illinois to the late Henry and Mary Nash Zulauf on February 4, 1925.

Eileen, a devoted mother and owner of a wholesale nursery with her late husband William of 57 years, was a talented crafter who enjoyed numerous hobbies. She was known for her intricate beaded jewelry, bottles, and ornaments.  She loved to paint, crochet, garden, do stained glass, and quilting.

She loved playing cards, especially bridge, and playing Mexican Train.

Eileen enjoyed camping in their motor home, and spending summers in North Carolina and traveling throughout the United States.

She was preceded in death by her five brothers Edwin, Virgil, Harold, Wilbur, and Fletcher Wayne Zulauf and two sisters Helen Andrew, and Elizabeth Standley.  Her first child, Karen Edlen died shortly after birth.

Eileen is survived by her son Jeffrey Edlen and wife Mary of Sorrento, and daughter Patricia Dawson of Eustis.  Grandson Josh Dawson, his significant other Sharilyn and their children Santanna, Slade, and Sloane of Eustis.  Grandson Paul Edlen, his wife Jeanne, and their children Kaitlyn and Megan of Orlando.  Grandson Neil Edlen, from Mount Airy, North Carolina. She is survived by many loving nieces, nephews, special friends and relatives.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Allen J. Harden Funeral Home, 1800 North Donnelly St., Mount Dora.  Visitation will be at 12:30pm and service at 1:00pm with Pastor Brooks Braswell officiating.
