Her light shines through cracks of our broken hearts.

For those who knew Betty, every day was a joy.

A song, a smile, a story, living for us,

her love always glowed.

Elizabeth Lindstrom Braddock, 91, entered the gates of heaven on May 28 th , 2020. A beloved resident of Mount Dora who was born in Nutley, NJ in 1928. Her loving parents Albert and Helen Lindstrom raised her and brother George Lindstrom. Elizabeth attended Sacred Heart Catholic School until her freshman year. She graduated from Bloomfield High School in 1946. Catholicism, football, and WW2 shaped her world. She rooted on Bloomfield High School to a state championship where she met her love for life Jack Braddock. Jack and Betty lived a greatly blessed life with four children Renae, Mark, Wayde and Bonnie. Living their dream, Jack and Betty built High Hopes Horse Farm while also creating a successful advertising company.

Elizabeth worked on Wall Street in New York at Barclays Bank in the late 1940's. She volunteered for Lake County Hospice in the 1980's.  Her primary work was being a super mom who made our lives just beautiful. Widowed in 2012, she carried on to provide joy and inspiration to her family and friends.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband Jack K. Braddock in 2012 and daughter Renae Lynn Khoury on May 23, . 2020. Elizabeth leaves behind 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

She has given so much. We know our Lord has saved a special seat in heaven.
