Eugene Abston, 74 of Eustis, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2015 in his home after many years of fighting cancer. Eugene was born on June 01, 1941 in Twinton, Tennessee to the late John T. Abston and Dolly (Smith) Abston. Eugene moved to Central Florida from Tennessee in 1959. Eugene is survived by his wife B. Joyce White of Eustis; Son Gene R. Abston of Sorrento; Daughter Sheila M. Kurpil of Crestview, FL; 5 Grandchildren, and 6 Great Grandchildren; Brother Freddie Abston of Sorrento; Sisters Ruby Findley of Apopka, Linda Jones of Altoona, and Vannie Rowe of Sorrento. He was preceded in death by brothers, James Abston, and Tommy Abston; Sisters Lillie Lee, and Debbie Conley. There will be no services. Cremation arrangements are by Allen J Harden Funeral Home Mount Dora FL.
