Obituary

FRANCES FREY WILKINSON - passed February 8, 2021, at home surrounded by her family. She was born March 10, 1933, in E. St. Louis, IL, the daughter of Clemens and Anna Menckowski.

Frances enjoyed cake decorating, painting, ballroom dancing, sewing, and lunch dates with her friends. After retiring as an administrative assistant, she volunteered at Waterman Hospital in Leesburg.

Frances welcomed every moment to love her family, showering them with generosity, kindness, and affection. She was fun-loving, bestowing her sense of humor at any opportunity.

Frances married Kenneth L. Frey on July 24, 1954, and was married for 27 years until his passing. She married Ellis Wilkinson on July 29, 1994, and was married to him until his passing.

Frances was predeceased by her parents Clemens and Anna Menckowski, her first husband Kenneth L. Frey, her second husband Ellis WIlkinson, and her sister MaryAnn Caniff.

She is survived by her sisters Loretta (Jack) Beck and Theresa Berutti. Also surviving are her daughter Donna (Barry) Brett, son Richard (Shirley) Frey, daughter Carol (John) Perry, son Kevin Frey, and daughter Christine (Pete) Stroer; 11 grandchildren Lauren, Morgan, Lindsey, Layne, Ryan, Will, Hannah, Chad, Katherine, Kenneth, and Stephen; and 13 great-grandchildren.

A funeral mass will be held on February 15, 2021, at 9:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Mount Dora, Florida. Burial will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery in Clermont, Florida.
