Franklin (Frank) Dewey Berry, aged 80, died at the Waterman Village Rehab Center in Mount Dora, Florida on Thursday, October 3, 2013. Frank was born March 17, 1933 to George W. Berry and Okie E. (Cook) Berry of Chilhowie, Virginia. Frank was preceded in death by his loving wife of 16 years, Marjorie Eileen (Holmes) Berry. He is also preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Paul Ralph Berry and Marvin Gilbert Berry, both of Chilhowie, Virginia

Frank was a long haul driver for Allied Van Lines for many years and was a U.S Army veteran, having severed with the 101st Airborne Division in Alaska.

Frank is survived by two sisters; Marie (Ron) Anderson of Maitland, Florida and Margaret (Bob) Berry of Flowery Branch, Georgia; two step-children, Sandra (David) Holloway and Charles Buford Bragg; as well as several step-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

It was Frank's desire to be cremated and his ashes will be interred at the Mountain View United Methodist Church in Chilhowie, Virginia at a later date. Williams Funeral Home in Chilhowie, Virginia will be in charge of the interment.

The family asked that instead of flowers, donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.
