George Richard Christie, Sr., 77 of Leesburg, Florida left this world for Heaven on August 6, 2015, surrounded by his family.

Born July 20, 1938 in Laurence Harbor, New Jersey son of John and Edith Christie. He had two brothers William and James and two sisters Joan and Catherine "Mickey".

He leaves his wife, Elizabeth, of 48 years. He's the father of five children: Richard "Ricky" Christie, Paulette Christie, George Christie Jr. wife Susan, Cheryl Ramsdell husband George "Chip", Warren Christie fiance Michelle; thirteen grandchildren: Millie (deceased), Richard, Melissa, Tiffany, Eric, Arielle, Ashley, Kevin, Candace, Gerald, Jacob, Avryel, Julia; and many great-grandchildren.

Predeceased by his father, mother, two brothers, sister, and granddaughter. His passing has left an emptiness in our hearts and a void in our family. "You're my soul and my heart's inspiration"
