George Alfred Cota, Jr. of Mt. Dora, Florida/Colechester, Vermont passed away July 13, 2015. Born August 18, 1931 in Williston, Vermont son of George and Rena Cota.

He leaves his wife, Carolyn, of 58 years. He's the father of six children: Sally Butter, Daniel Cota (deceased) wife Cathy, Jennifer Williams (Bill), Bonnie High (Clarence), Steve Cota (Layna), Karen Hopkins (Kevin); 14 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild; a special nephew Brian Cota and many more nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his father, mother, stepfather, 1st wife Earlynn McAvoy, 2 brothers and 1 sister.

One living sister, lots of friends and relatives.

He ran two service stations for 11 years in Essex Jct., Vermont

He moved to Mt. Dora, FL in 1971. Co-founder of Dora Pines Mobile Home Estates, Mt. Dora, FL.
