Gerard Adrian "Chick" Jaillet, Sr. of Mt. Dora, FL. passed away at the age of 95 on July 25, 2016 He was born in Gardner, MA and graduated from Gardner High School in 1939. He attended Assumption College in Worcester, MA and Trinity College in Hartford, CT.

Chick was predecessed by his mother and father and also by his two sons, Gerard Jr. and Charles, a brother Charlie and a sister Theresa O'Meara. Chick worked 33 years in Finance in the Citrus Industry for Plymouth Citrus Products and Citrus Central as Credit Manager and Director of Credit.

Chick was an avid golfer and was a member of the Mt. Dora Golf Association for 41 years and had 3 holes in one.

Chick served his Country in the Navy during WWII on the USS Santee and also in the Korean War.

He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Frances "Fran" Jaillet of Mt Dora, FL., sister Cecile Harrison of Dunnellon, FL.

Chick was a member of St Patricks Catholic Church of Mt. Dora.

A Funeral mass will be held on Friday, August 12, 2016 at 9:00 A.M. at St. Patricks Catholic Church in Mt. Dora.
