Mom's Hug Meant the World
Nobody else held us so tight
Or made us feel so right
No one's eyes shined so bright with love
As our mom, who is now high above.

Gertrude Helen Wohlers, who was known as "Trudy" by her friends and "Momma" by her family, departed her loved ones on Friday, January 26th, 2024, at the age of 94. Trudy was born in New York City on April 3rd, 1929, to Gustav and Gertrude Allnach.

Trudy was mother to her children Bob, Steven, Diane, Deborah, William and Michael, whom she raised with lots of love in Franklin Square, Long Island and in Leesburg, Florida, with her husband William (Bill) Wohlers. And what a wonderful mother she was! All of her children have wonderful memories growing up, especially the holidays where Momma always made them seem wondrous.

Trudy is survived by her 6 children, 15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. A viewing will be held at Allen J. Harden Funeral Home on
Tuesday, January 30th, 2024 from 6pm to 8/9pm.
