Harold Joseph Perry Sr, 77, of Mount Dora died February 17, 2021 due to complications from Covid 19.

Harold whom was known by "Joe" to most, Is survived by companion Betty Brice of Mount Dora; Son Jason, Daughter-in-law Michelle and granddaughter Madison Perry of Sorrento; Sister Rosamond and Brother-in-Law James Brooks of Ocala and 3 nieces; Brother Donald Perry of Ocala; Betty's children Steve Brice of Texas and Kathy Brice of Virginia; and her grandchildren Cutler Brice, Jacob Brice and Lindsey Thomas.

Joe was born on November 23, 1943 in Sumter County, FL to Rosa Lee Ridgway and Harold Raymond Perry. He spent his childhood in Summerfield, FL and was a Graduate of Lake Weir High School. He eventually moved to Mount Dora where he settled down, got married and had 2 sons, Joe Jr. and Jason. He worked many years for the City of Mount Dora and eventually retired after almost 40 years of dedicated service. Joe was a loving father, grandfather and brother who loved fishing, hunting and spending time with family. He was also a long time member of Elks Lodge #1578 where he enjoyed volunteering in the kitchen and being with friends.
At his wishes he will be laid to rest in Pine Forest Cemetery. There will be a small Private Service at a later date.
