Hilda Bales Taylor (née Morris) went peacefully to be with her Lord on June 22, 2019 in Wildwood, Florida at the age of 94. Hilda is survived by her sister, Evelyn Harrell of Bainbridge, Georgia; her brother, Richard Morris (Mildred) of Quincy, Florida; all six of her children, eight grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren. Her parents, her husband, and her brother Cecil Morris of Quincy, Florida precede her in death. Hilda was born on July 30, 1924 in Quincy, Florida to William Clarence Morris and Evelyn G Carmen. She graduated from high school. She met and married LD Bales in Norfolk, Virginia, the man who became her rock. After many years in Quincy and raising a family, the family moved to Mount Dora, Florida. Hilda continued her legal secretary work, as well as serving as a Pink Lady at Waterman Hospital in Eustis, Florida. A memorial is scheduled for 11:00 am on June 29, 2019 Allen J. Harden Funeral Home at 1800 North Donnelly Street, Mount Dora, Florida 32757.
