Obituary

Holly Lynn Bader Craddock, December 27, 1960, passed on January 17, 2025. Holly was a loving and devoted wife to Dale Craddock who she met in high school and married in 1980, and mother to two children.

Born in Flushing, NY, to Robert Bader and Linda Gutersloh Bader Erskine (deceased). Departed, January 17, 2025, after a fearless battle with Pancreatic Cancer.

She is also survived by her father, Robert Bader Sr., husband, Dale Craddock, sister, Paula (John) Bader Feagans, brother, Robert (Mona) Bader Jr., children, Brittany (Jake) Craddock Herbst and Dale (Brett) Craddock Jr.  She delighted in her 6 grandchildren: Benjamin, Dale III, Bryson and Lily Craddock and Hannah and Cora Herbst.

Holly is previously of Boca Raton, Florida, where she met the love of her life, Dale. They moved to Venice, Florida, in 1980, then settled in Mt. Dora in 1988.

Holly was a lifelong learner, graduating from Boca Raton High School in 1979. She worked in the banking world until she went back to school and earned her BSN from UCF in 1998. She went on to earn her Board Certification in Infection Prevention and Control and her license in Healthcare Risk Management. To Holly, work was more than a career, it was a passion. Work was a source of pride for her as she sought to improve the lives of others.

Holly was a lady on the move. She filled her down time with family and friends. Dale and Holly enjoyed weekends at the beach and trips to Franklin, NC, where her love for the outdoors took her backpacking 160 miles on the Appalachian trail with her sister-in-law and daughter. Holly's love of the ceramic arts was cultivated in high school at her mother's ceramic shop. Later, Holly shared that passion with her own daughter. Holly had an adventurous side that took her out-doors: scuba diving, white-water rafting, sky diving, and ziplining.
