Dr. James K Brandt, 84, passed away November 14, 2018 after a long battle with dementia.  He served in the U.S. Air Force before beginning his 35 year Dental Practice in Mount Dora.  He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and many professional and community organizations.  Survivors: Wife, Shirley, Children: Kim (Sam) Hodges, Kipp (Kimmie) Brandt, Kristi (Will) Siebert, Kenneth (Angela) Brandt, 5 grandchildren: Cortney (Will) Smathers, Clint (Nicole) Hodges, Matt Siebert, Brandt Mason Siebert, Faye Brandt,  3 great grandchildren: Adley Smathers, Saela Smathers, Tripp Hodges.
