Jim Harris, 80, of Sorrento, Florida, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2025.

Born to Lee and Jim Harris, he was a longtime resident of Mount Dora, where he made his home since 1961.  Jim was the owner of Harris Oil Company.

Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Harris, and his parents.  He is survived by his daughters, Nancy Harris-Burford and Kelley Brown; grandchildren, Emilee Harrison (Eric), Sam Brown, Will Brown, and Jack Brown, and one great-grandchild, Kendrick Harrison. His family was the center of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

Jim will be remembered for his hard work, devotion to family, and for always having a joke to tell.
