James Irwin passed away Sunday, January 6, 2019 at  Winter Park Hospital. He was the loving husband of Wanda Mae (Moore) Irwin. Jim was born on October 24th, 1935 in Altoona, PA. He was the son of the late Leo Theodore Irwin and Nellie Mae (Craw) Irwin.

Jim was a graduate of Altoona High School Class of 1953. He served in the Air Force. He graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Engineering.Jim worked for the Westinghouse Corporation for both the Maryland and Massachusetts Divisions and retired after 30 years of service.

He was an avid Patriots Fan and his "Pats" were the ultimate #1 NFL team and he dared anyone to say otherwise.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his sister Patricia Myers of Winter Park, Fl. He is also survived by his daughters Sheree Barker (Dave) of Pasadena, MD, Vickie Freeze (John) of New Bern, NC, and Patricia Bartell (Charles) of Cumming, GA, 3 Grandchildren, and 4 Great Grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his sister Sylvia Diane Miller and Brother in Laws Ray Miller and Harold Myers. A special thank you goes out to Jim's sister Pat Myers and niece Terri Lea Myers for all their assistance and support in the last few years of his life.

A Celebration of Jim's life will be held Saturday , January 12, 2019 at 1:00 pm at the Allen Harden J Funeral Home at 1800 North Donnelly Street, Mt Dora, Fl.
