James Harold Wilson 3/8/37-4/21/2015 passed away peacefully after succumbing to complications from diabetes and MDS. He was 78 years old.

James "Jimmy" Wilson was born in New York, New York on March 8, 1937. He was the son of Hattie and Jack Wilson and was the proud husband of 55 years to the beautiful Julee Dawn Wilson. James was the perfect mirror of a Norman Rockwell painting.hard worker, plain clothes, huge family, and an inner glow that spouted out made up songs, corny jokes, and long whistles. He always had a pep in his step, a smile on his face, and a calming demeanor that could slow down any tempest.

James is survived by his loving wife, best friend, and fellow singer of 55 years Julee Wilson and their childrenChristopher H. Wilson and his wife Victoria Wilson, Keith A. Wilson and his wife Helen Wilson, James T. Wilson and his wife Alexia Wilson,and Tracey Dawn Soltren Slack and her husband Sean Slack and Kenneth S. Wilson and his wife Angela Wilson. He also has 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

James leaves behind a legacy of compassion, trust, care, and love for all those who knew him. He will be sorely missed by family and friends, and his aura will be remembered infinitely because of his willingness to put others before himself. A slight man in build but carried a powerful message and will serve as a lesson for us all on how to be kind, how to avoid stress, and how to live your life the way it was intended.
