James Wert was born October 1, 1958, in Eustis, Florida to Kenneth and Lillian Wert. At the age of three, James moved in with Cletus and Carolyn Stutzman. He attended Christian Home and Bible School in Mount Dora from kindergarten through twelfth grade where he excelled in all area, especially track and cross country. James married Jeanne in 1989. James worked as a computer operator, in home improvement and most recently as a rope maker for Masterline.

James went to be with the Lord on February 1, 2015. He is survived by his wife Jeanne, his parents Lillian Ricks and Cletus and Carolyn Stutzman; his siblings, Peggy, Julie, Larry, Gary, Susie, Chris, Cleta and Laura; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family request that you make donations to the James Wert Memorial Fund at Christian Home and Bible School. The proceeds will go to the Monty Boyd Track Fund.
