Jean Apgar, a resident of Mt Dora, died Monday the 2nd of November at home with her husband Dory by her side.

Born in 1948 in Newark NJ, Jean began working at a dental office as a dental assistant, moving up to an office manager. In a career change, Jean began working at Dental Dental Plan of NJ as a customer service representative, moving up throughout the years to Operations Manager. Jean also taught radiology in the dental field.

She is survived by her husband Dory and sons David, also of Mt. Dora, and Michael, who lives in Maryland, and her three beautiful grandchildren Thomas, Grayson and Madelyn.

The family asks for no flowers, but welcome cards which can be sent to 8889 Beacon Hill Ave Mt Dora FL 32757.

There will be private funeral arrangements in Mt. Dora, with a funeral mass to be held at St Peter the Apostle Church in New Jersey, where a large number of family members still reside, at a date to be determined.
