(Audrey) Jeanne Andrea, 87, of Apopka, FL, died Thursday, October 17, 2013 at her room at Emeritus Assisted Living. A private service will take place when family can all be there some time in November when we will scatter her ashes and remember her fondly.
Jeanne is survived by her husband of 65 years, John J. Andrea, of Apopka, FL; her son, Scott (Lammany) Andrea of Houston, TX; her son, Joe (Colette) Andrea of Randolph, NJ; and her daughter, Mary (Kenn) Hall of Apopka, FL; three grandsons, Brett, Troy and Adam Andrea; and two step-grandsons, Bryan and Garrett Hall, and four great grandchildren, Alyssa and Alexandra Andrea and Lila and Kaleab Hall.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clive and Florence (Scott) Brown.
Jeanne was born September 9, 2026, in Bloomington, Wisconsin. She attended Bloomington High School and college at the University of Wisconsin Nursing School where she met her husband, John, and was united in marriage at the Bloomington Methodist Church on August 7, 1948.
Jeanne worked as a nurse in Madison, Wisconsin, and Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where she later taught nursing at St. Lukes Hospital. She moved to Florida where she ran the mobil care unit for Brevard County before retiring. She was an active member of the United Methodist Church, both a Boy Scout and Girl Scout leader, an active member of the Antiques and Collectables Club in Melbourne, FL, and active in local political groups. She enjoyed sharing her great hospitality with her many friends and listening to various musical groups.
