Jessica Lee Ann Hillis lived to be 13 years old. She let go gracefully as the angels carried her home.
Jessica was a very bright, colorful, happy girl. She loved Minnie Mouse, Barbie, dress up, but most of all she loved her family and just being alive. Jessica was in the 7th grade attending Lake Hills School. She was a very smart girl and loved being at school every day that she could attend.
Jessica was born on August 17, 2001. She had a rough start in the beginning that led to several syndromes. She was never given a diagnosis, all the family had ever been told is an unknown and a unique disease that has never been seen. She was confined to a wheelchair, was g-tube fed, and had to wear oxygen every day. Thru all the trials and tribulations she never complained. No matter the circumstance she was always smiling.
She lost her fight on February 19, 2015. She is survived by her mother, Kathy Hillis; mother's fianc, Joseph England; her father, Robert Glenn Hillis; his wife, Misty Hillis; sister, Shelby Lynn Hillis; brother, Robert Tyler Hillis; step-brother, Cody Blackburn; grandmother, Kathy Gail Norman; and grandfather, Carl Slater.
