Joan Elizabeth Fox, 86, of Howey-in-the-Hills, FL passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on January 15th, 2023. She was born on October 20th, 1936, to Donald and Ena Robson in Detroit, MI.

Joan was a kind, caring and giving person who always put the needs of others before her own. She was a strong woman who faced every challenge in life with dignity, class, sense of humor, and infectious smile. She was a source of inspiration and friend to everyone and will be missed by those whose lives she touched.

Joan enjoyed spending time with family and friends, being a member of and volunteering at the Allen Park, MI and Eustis, FL Elks Lodge, and volunteering at the church where she loved working with the children at Wonderful Wednesday and Vacation Bible School.

Joan was predeceased by her parents, her children's father Roger Fox, and her loving companion Kenneth Hinzmann. She is survived by her children, Pamela Chambers (Bill), Jeffrey Fox (April), Jon Fox (Donnie); her sister, Barbara Ratliff (Bob), her two nephews, her niece, her nine grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
