Joel (Joey) Steven Brownsberger, 56, of Mount Dora, Florida; passed away on May 30, 2022. He was born in Eustis, Florida, on September 10, 1965.

He is the proud graduate of Mount Dora High School, Class of 1986. In 1989, Joey married his high school sweetheart Lisa (Urban) Brownsberger, and they shared 32 wonderful years of marriage together. Joey loved to live life to the fullest, whether on a golf course, at a Florida Gator game, or hiking in the mountains. He knew how to be a friend to anyone around and touched so many lives.

He is survived by Lisa Brownsberger and their children, Justin Brownsberger, Lauren (Mark) Cleaver, and Morgan Brownsberger. As well as his brothers Mike (Denise) Brownsberger and Scotty Brownsberger; and many loved nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Melba Jo (Robinson) Brownsberger.

There will be a Celebration of Life held on Friday, June 3, 2022, at Life Pointe Church in Eustis, FL, at 1 pm; followed by a time of fellowship.
