John Dennis Clifford
September 26, 1937- February 18, 2024

John Dennis Clifford Sr. born in Akron, Ohio, died at age 86, on February 18th, 2024, surrounded by loved ones in his Florida home.

Living the majority of his life in Ohio, he was a graduate of Springfield High School and a college graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University in
Indiana (formally Marion College). John was an educator at Solon High School where he positively impacted many students' lives for 28 years.

John is survived by his wife, Mary Jo Clifford, to whom he was married for 65 years and his three daughters, Laura Wickstrom (Larry), Tawnya Blubaugh (Jeff), and Tammy Vidler (Keith). Additionally, he was blessed with 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. His oldest child, John Clifford Jr., preceded him in death.

John had a gift of encouragement. His loving message to all was, "If you have Jesus, you have everything." He loved the Lord and served Him faithfully. This beautiful soul will be greatly missed. A Celebration of Life will be held on June 1st, 2024, from 1pm-4pm, the Memorial Service will begin at 1:30pm; late Luncheon to follow. The location will be at Shalersville Townhall, Ravenna, Ohio, 44266.
