John Brown Daniels of Mount Dora, Florida died on July 17, 2021 at the age of 88. Jack was born in Syracuse, New York. He was a graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy (1952), and later served as a trustee from 1984-1988. He was honored with the Academy's Founder's Day Award in 1994. He graduated from Yale University (1956), Cornell Law School (1963), and served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a litigation partner at the law firm of Winthrop Stimson Putnam & Roberts in New York City for over twenty years. He is survived by his wife of 46 years Sara, his daughter Dr. Deborah Carver, his granddaughters Samantha and Caroline Carver, his sister Cynthia Long, and his brother Dr. Charles Daniels.
