John C. Edwards passed away peacefully on Tuesday March 2, 2021 at home in Mount Plymouth, Florida.

Mr. Edwards grew up in Atlanta, Georgia where he entered the Marine Corps after completing high school. After receiving an honorary discharge he attended the University of Georgia in Athens. Initially he worked for the Chevrolet division of General Motors and later retired from the Cue Environmental Company. He enjoyed golf and was an avid boater with a love for the St. Johns River in Florida.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John Clarence and Birdie Maggie Lee Hancock. He is survived by his three children Laura Fenton, Jay Edwards, and Stephanie Borland. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and their mother Sharon Link. Memorials can be made to the American Heart Association.
