Obituary

Juan Alberto Gomez Jr., lovingly known by his family as Junie, left us unexpectedly on December 14th. Junie was a bright light, known for his infectious laugh, love of music, video games, and his dream to become a well known rapper. He inspired others to pursue music and his legacy lives on through the music he created. Though his time was cut short, he lived each day with passion, always making time for his cherished friends and family. He is survived by his loving parents Juan Alberto Gomez and Valerie Long, step-parents Tanisha Gomez and Shaun Long, grandparents Valeriam and Jeff Ackler and Juan Alberto Gomez Brieto and Ryina Valle, siblings Jasmine Cardenas and Isabel Ortiz, step-sibling Taisheliz Quesada, and a vast circle of family and friends who will miss his kindness and humor. His warmth and outgoing personality touched the lives of many leaving a lasting impression on anyone he met. His presence will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Only God knows why this happened. Junie was saved and knew God and talked about God to family and friends. We encourage you to seek God during this difficult time.

A visitation will be held at Allen J. Harden Funeral Home on Saturday December 20th with visitation from 10am-12pm and the service starting at 12pm. All who loved Junie are welcome to come and say their goodbyes. Immediately following the service, an interment will take place at Greenwood cemetery.
