Obituary

Judith P. Linsea peacefully entered into Heaven on Saturday, January 17, 2026, surrounded by family. Judy and her beloved husband, Jack, started dating in the 8th and 9th grades and had been married for 63 years. According to their kids, theirs is the Greatest Love Story of All Time.

Judy attended Holt High School where she was the Homecoming Queen of the Class of 1960, recognized for her kindness, her beauty inside and out, her bright and funny personality and class.  "Every inch a Queen." She and Jack attended Michigan State and married in 1962, later welcoming 2 children: Steven Craig and the self proclaimed favorite, Sherri Kay. Judy was always involved in her children's activities and was den leader for Cub Scouts and Brownies, and went on countless field trips. At a young age, Steven stated he had "the prettiest mom on the bus."

Judy was a USAF Officer's wife who supported Jack throughout his career from the Vietnam War until his retirement in 1987. Every time they moved, she always made the house a home. Their kids always joked, "Dad may have been the Colonel but Mom is the General."  They both were at every school event, sporting event and always there for their children and grandchildren. She loved her family more than anything else in life and they had so much fun together over the years taking trips, cruises, football games, holidays, birthdays and just being together. She put her heart into everything she did and made a beautiful life for her husband, kids and grandkids who she adored. We were blessed to have her. She was full of life, laughter and love.

Judy joins her mother and father, Ealum H. Spraker and Helen Spraker; her brother, Robert C. Spraker (Bob) and his wife, Heather Ann, in Heaven, as well as her beloved Cocker Spaniel, Mindy.

She is survived by her husband, Jack; son, Steve (Terri); daughter, Sherri Riley (Patrick); grandchildren, Blake, Taylor, Caden, Steven, Christopher, DeAnne, Maggie and Jimmy; niece, Cathy Jugovic (Tom); nephews, Mikel Spraker and Rob Spraker (Laura), and many wonderful friends.
