Judson "Allen" Powell, 71, of Tavares, FL passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2013.
He was born on October 2, 1941 in Leesburg, FL to the late Judson and Virginia Powell.
Allen was a lifelong resident of Lake County. He was employed by Crossmark and was of Baptist faith.
Allen is survived by his wife, Joy Vanzant Powell; son, David Allen Powell (Angie); daughters, Shannon Marie Brown and Allison Peters (Brian); brothers, Billy Powell (Lounette) and John Powell (Mary); and numerous extended family members.
Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at the Allen J. Harden Funeral Home in Mount Dora, FL.
A funeral service will immediately follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. Richard Fountain officiating.
Interment will take place at Pine Forest Cemetery in Mount Dora, FL.
