Obituary
Mr. Kenneth Sheldon Brooks of Zellwood, FL, passed away on October 10, 2018 at the age of 92. Kenneth was born to missionary parents Cyril and Anna (Carson) Brooks on May 1, 1926 in Manila, Philippines. He grew up as the second of three children, attended school in the Philippines and High School in Buffalo, NY after WWII. As a young boy, Kenneth realized his need for salvation and accepted Jesus as his savior. The Brooks family was living in the Philippines during WWII and were interned by the Japanese. Kenneth rededicated his life to the Lord at Buffalo Bible Conference in 1945. In 1948, he married Elaine Goldia Peterson. They attended Emmaus Bible School in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Kenneth and Elaine served as missionaries in the Philippines from 1952 to their retirement to Florida in 1994. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Elaine, son, Dale; and his daughters, Beverly (Smits), Joyce (Hardisty), and Marilyn (Cole); fifteen grandchildren, and twenty-two great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Sandra, his parents, Cyril and Anna; his brother Leonard, his sister, Rose Brooks, and two great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will take place at Hiawassa Bible Chapel,

, on Saturday, November 24 at 10:00am. A Graveside service for the Brooks family will take place at God's Garden at Hampden DuBose Academy. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bible School of the Air (c/o CMML, P. O. Box 13, Spring Lake, NJ 07762.
