LaVerne Wade (Henry, Keith), 85, of Tavares, Florida, and formerly of Winter Garden, Florida, passed away on August 14, 2015, at Waterman Hospital in Tavares, Florida.

LaVerne was born November 27, 1930, in Gallatin County, Kentucky, to the late Robert C. Henry and Elizabeth (Ruth) Henry. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Winter Garden, Florida, where she was employed for many years. LaVerne will be remembered throughout the community of Winter Garden as an exceptional neighbor and one who was willing to roll up her sleeves and help in any way she could. She was a blessing to all of those around her and will be greatly missed by her friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 25 years, John O. Wade, and her son, Barry Keith.

She is survived by her sisters, Stella Hoskins (Richard), Helen Sauley (Bud), and Nanette Mills; brother, Vernon Henry (Enid); son, Richard Keith (Sharon); son, Kevin Keith (Michael); daughter, Bonnie Clark (Michael); daughter, Donnie Davies (Les); and daughter-in-law, Virginia Keith. LaVerne has left many happy memories of their time with her by her 20 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

LaVerne's family would like to extend their deepest gratitude and appreciation to all of those special people who cared for her during her stay at The Grand Court and thank them and the friends she made during her time there for the care and companionship they gave her.

A private memorial service will be held for LaVerne at a date to be announced.
