Lena Gale Grubbs (better known as Granny) 86 of Mount Dora, Florida went to be with the Lord on February 9. 2021.  Lena Grubbs was born on February 19, 1934 in Apalacha, VA to the late J.T. Tate and Dora B. Combs.  She has a surviving sister Doris Gibson of Big Sone Gap, VA.  Lena was the mother of two children Diane Y. Hetrick(David) and Dale L. Smith (deceased) (Susie).  She was blessed with five Grandchildren, Natalie Shaw, Gina Harden, Brian Hetrick, Anna Smith and Emma Smith along with seven great- grandchildren and one great grandson. A Celebration of Life will take place with family later in the year.
