Linnea Marie Hanke, 81, of Woodland Hills, CA, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2025, surrounded by family in Mount Dora, FL. Born October 3, 1943, in Minneapolis, MN, to Ken and Mardelle Stephen, she was a devoted mother, grandmother, friend, and faithful servant of Christ.

Linnea raised her children, Matthew and Rebecca, with love, faith, and perseverance. A dedicated educator for over 38 years, she poured her heart into teaching and advocating for animals and the underrepresented. Her life reflected her deep love for Jesus, touching countless lives with her kindness, wisdom, and service.

She is survived by her son Matthew (Natalie) Hanke, daughter Rebecca (Jared) Zinda, grandchildren Kenley, Elijah, Jeremiah, and Amariah Zinda, and many cousins and friends.

A celebration of her life was held September 10, 2025, at Pine Forest Cemetery in Mount Dora, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Samaritan's Purse.

"Her children arise and call her blessed" (Proverbs 31:28). We rejoice in her eternal rest with her Savior.
