Lloyd (Adrian) Goffinet of Apopka, FL passed away Saturday, June 25, 2022.

Adrian was born on October 19, 1938 in Tell City, Indiana to August and Claudina Goffinet. Adrian is survived by his wife of 27 years, Karin, his sister Joyce Greenwood and his brothers, Paul, David and John Goffinet and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Mary Boze and his brothers Allen and Ralph Goffinet.

Adrian also leaves behind many dear friends and wonderful neighbors. Adrian loved being with people and always had a big smile for everyone. He was a kind and gentle spirit who will be missed.

Adrian attended St. Mary's College and St. Meinrad Seminary. He earned his bachelor's degree from Brescia University and his master's degree from Indiana State University. Adrian taught middle school at Holy Family in Jasper, Indiana for several years and eventually opened Jasper Interiors, a floor covering and furniture business. Adrian then made a move to Louisville where he worked in retail home furnishings sales. He was transferred to the Orlando area and was working at Whitmire's Furniture in Orlando when he retired.

Adrian loved sharing a meal with friends. He enjoyed playing tennis and had been on the Indiana State University tennis team. He was big basketball fan and tried never to miss a game on TV. He also loved to travel and was always up for an adventure.
Adrian most certainly loved all of the family dogs and they all so loved him.

A funeral Mass will be held on July 12, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church located at 834 S. Orange Blossom Trail in Apopka, FL
