Lois D. Lewis, 99, Lady Lake, FL. passed away on February 5, 2022. Our beloved mother , Lois was born in Carbondale, PA on December 21, 1922.
She studied nursing and graduated from University of PA. with a bachelors degree in nursing. Lois also taught nurses training at Jefferson's Hospital in Philadelphia. Upon returning home to Scranton, PA she worked at Moses Taylor Hospital before getting married.
She is survived by her three children; Gary who resides in Orlando, FL. and Alan who resides in Pulaski, Tennessee and a daughter Deborah who resides in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Lois is also survived by her 4 grandchildren; Allison, Gary, Craig, and Troy. She also had 5 great grandchildren; Alyssa, Emily, Kayla, Chase and Logan.
In 1990 Mon and Dad moved to The Villages in Lady Lake, FL. and spent their retirement years there. Mom was a Red Cross Volunteer for Disaster Relief. She loved to sing and was a member of Village Voices and also sang in the choir at her church the Chapel of Christian Faith in The Villages. She was a blessing to all and will be dearly missed!
